So, I decided that I wanted to rebuild the Millionaire's suite so here it is!

I'm still not dead! Just took another hiatus! Good news is, my Sims game crashed but I got everything up and running again and all my files ARE SAFE!!! Hooray! I went gung ho today making a ton of new stuff! First, I recolored some items to incorporate Rose's real artwork into the sitting room:

Then, I recolored a Sims 2 Antiquties mesh for the dining room chairs:

I redid some of Rose's outfits:

The mesh for this dress had a little train, which is inaccurate to the real dress, and the beading and medallions at the bottom were all higglety pigglety so I cleaned them up as well. I also added black gloves. Rose wears black gloves while she is sitting at dinner but is not wearing them when she attempts to jump, so I've made both versions.

I found the color of this mesh to be too bright and yellow. The movie version is more yellowish green, so I faded the color and I moved the bow up a little higher, which is more accurate to the dress.

That transition from Old Rose to Color Titanic is AMAZING. I'm in awe how you did it!

A: At 5:03, I used a zoom tool on Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 (before I had Sony Vegas) and the TVs behind old Rose were images (she was in from of a greenscreen and the background was inserted in editing) Then the TVs themselves were covered with greenscreen so I can insert wreck videos (including the bow of the ship and Cal's room) Then I zoomed in, and tried to have the same angle on the 1912 ship model (created by Bacon164 at www.modthesims2.com) and blended them together! As for 8:04, no special effects there, it was done in Virtual Sailor (and so was the sub at 1:37 and 2:12)

A: I'm not very good at making furniture, but I did recolor a lot of it or have had people recolor it for me (Thanks tingtong, p$ychosimmer, bacon164, and wickedsims from the Sims 2 Community) Most of them were downloaded from these sites:

A: Good question. I have a 2002 Gateway PC and as my boyfriend says (he's a computer nerd and fixes PCs)that the series I have was the last good series made by Gateway. it's built like a tank, not that it hasn't had it's wear and tear. I have absolutely no space left on my PC (and it's been reformatted over 4 times and had 2 gigs of ram installed) but I will not be able to finish the movie on my PC. But don't fret. I will back up all things Titanic onto an extermal hard drive and my boyfriend is building me a PC SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for gaming, and that's all that will be on it, The Sims 2 and my video editing programs. So everything else will remain on my ancient PC, because right now, I have to unistall programs and delete tons of files just create the video files for my Titanic series.

I know it took me forever, but the video was waaaaaaay too big for Youtube (over 2 million KB!!!) But I finally found a video compression program that actually left the video in a pretty high quality. I'm very proud of it and I'm glad you all stuck with me for this long! Thanks everyone!

Part 2 will be out soon, and part 3 is about 35% done. After that though, I have just random scenes done. But I will not give up!

Although it looks like I'm not working on the movie, I am....and it's awesome. So I thought I'd show I'm still working on it by posting Jack's sketches (I've made them PG-Rated because I decided from the start to have NO nudity in my movie). Here they are, enjoy!

I'm Not Dead!

Just to let you know that I'm not dead...I am still working on the Titanic project but it is definately crawling for many reasons...one is that I now work full-time and go to school...so it's a little hetic...but I will announce this...the flying scene has been re-done for a FINAL time....so to all who have scene my "Evolution of a Flying Scene" video, know now that none of the scenes in that video will be in the final production. I have been working on random scenes throught the film, from the beginning, to the very end...but it may take another year and I know your patience is waning, but when it is finished I assure you, you WILL NOT be sorry.

And now I will announce my next project after this:

"Twilight: The Vampire Stories"

No, I will not be making the Twilight series, but I thought that it would be a cool idea to make a project of the vampire stories, meaning I will make a series on how the Cullens became a family. That will include:

~Carlisle's becoming a vampire.
~Jasper and the newborn vampires.
~Alice in the mental instution and her encounter with James.
~Edward and the Spanish Influenza.
~Esme's attempted suicide.
~Rosalie's rape, transformation, and murders of her attackers.
~Emmett's bear attack.
~And Bella's pregnancy/transformation.

Howler Campaign

I know I said I would have downloads with my next post....but I am too fuming with the pushback of the Harry Potter movie release from November to July....that's why I am fully endorsing the Howler Campaign (click link title for details)...if there is anyone outh there as angry as me, write to the WB a "howler" and boycott all WB films, including Harry Potter.

I know I haven't blogged in a while, but I've been too real life busy. Work on the movie is a little slow so I've decided to work on clothing and such. I will have some downloads for you next post. The downloads will include:

So yes, I have new layout...the old one, although more Titanicy wass just boring and ugly, (because I made it myself), so I spent hours browsing the net trying to find a nice new layout of someone's who is skilled with Photoshop...and tada! It's spiffy even though it has nothing to do with the theme of my blog...but who the hell cares, right? Anyways, I have some new set photos of the 3rd class General Room and the 1st class Smoking Lounge (I'm currently filming the Real Party scene) I also have been working on some of the photos that you see of Rose at the end of the film...some created by me, others created byt Bacon164 from MTS2 and S2C.

For my movie, I created a dress that Rose wears for oh, 30 seconds of the actual movie. But wanting to be as accurate as possible, I created the dress from scratch and I am now putting it up for download for anyone who wants it!
